BANNER ELK, N.C. – No. 8 Southern Wesleyan rallied in five sets over No. 5 Lees-McRae in the second round of the 2025 Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Championship.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lees-McRae jumped out to a set lead after collecting the first set at 26-24. The Bobcats moved to a two-set lead after an attack error from SWU at 25-22 in the second set.
- SWU held off a match point for the Bobcats at 26-25 in the third set and sent the match to four with the 28-26 win. The Warriors evened the match at two sets apiece with a 25-22 set win in the fourth set.
- Southern Wesleyan earned the reverse sweep after collecting the fifth set at 15-12 via a kill from Kaylon Chapman.
- Sydney Stigler had a match-high 20 kills and 22 digs in five sets for the Bobcats. Clara Duarte followed with 19 kills on a .351 hitting percentage and Karoline Springman added 13 kills to her season totals.
- Iza Rosin distributed 55 assists and recorded 20 digs in five sets. Brooke Ashkenase matched Stigler for a team-high 22 digs in the match.
