BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's basketball led wire-to-wire in a 101-63 win over Greensboro in the Bobcats' home opener.
Dwight Canady had a career-high 26 points on seven three-pointers to lead Lees-McRae.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Canady started the game with an opening three off an assist from Yerald Mieses. Justin Bramao recorded a fastbreak dunk 36 seconds into the contest for the 5-0 lead.
- Kenny Vera connected on a three-pointer with 8:21 left in the first half for the 42-21 advantage. The Bobcats led by 17 at the halftime break.
- Lees-McRae continued its dominance in the second half and led by 24 after another three from Canady.
- The Bobcats eclipsed the century mark for the first time this season after Kwynsie Pittsnogle registered a layup with 35 seconds remaining. Lees-McRae recorded the 101-63 win over Greensboro.
- Canady had a game-high 26 points on 8-13 shooting and seven made three-pointers. Cedric Patterson followed with 17 points and Isajah Deburgo tallied 13 points in 22 minutes. Nigel Okwakol rounded out the Bobcats in double-digit scoring with 12 points.
- Lees-McRae shot 35-64 (54.7%) from the floor with 19 assists and 13-33 from three-point range. The Bobcats also had 29 points off turnovers and 23 fast break points.
