HARROGATE, Tenn. – Lees-McRae men's basketball battled South Atlantic Conference opponent Lincoln Memorial on New Year's Eve. The Bobcats fell ,80-69, on Wednesday afternoon in Harrogate, Tennessee.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lees-McRae trailed by 11 at the 7:19 mark of the first half, but the Bobcats tied the contest at 40-40 with a three-pointer from Dwight Canady. Chase McDuffie knocked down two free throws before the break for the 42-42 tie at the halftime break.
- The Railsplitters led by 10 with 7:05 left in the second half and earned the 80-69 win over the Bobcats this afternoon.
- McDuffie led the Bobcats with 20 points on 8-14 shooting and added three rebounds. Canady and Nigel Okwakol followed with 15 and 11 points, respectively.
