BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's tennis picked up a 6-1 victory over Milligan on Thursday afternoon in Banner Elk. The Bobcats used the doubles point and three three-set victories at singles for the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Ezequiel Arce and Isaac Yang started the day with a 6-3 victory at No. 1 doubles. The Buffaloes evened the matches at No. 2 doubles with a 6-3 win of their own.
- Andrew Kunaka and Marco Laguna battled back at No. 3 doubles for the 7-6 (4) win and gave Lees-McRae the 1-0 advantage after the doubles matches.
- Yang continued his dominance with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Micael Curlej at No. 2 singles
- Max Borisov bounced back in the third set for the three-set victory at No. 1 singles over Milligan's Gonzaga Lafarga, 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 (1).
- Laguna followed suit with a three-set victory at No. 3 singles over Tomas Tenil, 6-3, 5-7, 7-6 (5).
- Andy Tallafigo grabbed the sixth point for Lees-McRae with the 6-2, 5-7, 1-0 win at No. 4 singles and Arce joined Yang with a straight-set victory at No. 5 singles at 6-4, 7-5.
