BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's volleyball hosted Belmont Abbey on Tuesday evening in a Conference Carolinas matchup. The Crusaders earned the three-set sweep on the McNair & Debi Tornow Court.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Belmont Abbey took the first two sets by scores of 25-15 and 25-17.
- Lees-McRae battled in the third set and used a 5-0 scoring run to lead 18-16. Austin Beaird collected the 23-21 lead in the set with a kill, but the Crusaders rallied with four consecutive points for the 25-23 set win.
- Beaird led the Bobcats with eight kills and six digs. Sebastian Heer followed with seven kills. Abdirahman Ahmed and Kevin Procter tallied five kills apiece. Procter hit a perfect 1.000% in the third set. Thiago Da Silva distributed 23 assists in three sets.
- Zach Puentes led Belmont Abbey with nine kills and Jibriel Elhaddad followed with eight kills on an efficient .636 hitting percentage.
