ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The Lees-McRae men's and women's track & field teams were back in action on Friday and Saturday at the Asheville Bulldog Invitational, hosted by UNC Asheville.
Andrew Belcher set a new school record in the Men's Discus on Saturday afternoon.

NOTABLES:
- Belcher notched the school record on his fifth throw of the competition with a mark of 45.25 meters and collected a fifth-place finish.
- Max Geckler turned in a runner-up finish in the Men's 5000 Meters on Friday night with a season-best time of 15:12.08.
- Keagan Osika set a personal-best time of 12.81 seconds in the Women's 100 Meters.
- JD Green earned 10th in Men's 200 Meters with a time of 22.51.
- Ellie Cobb took 15th in the Women's 400 Meters with a time of 1:02.55.
- Lodrick Scott turned in a top-ten performance in the 400 Meter Hurdles with a time of 59.19. Alejandro Peredia followed with a time of 1:03.28.
- Landri Martinka collected a time of 1:11.11 in the Women's 400 Meter Hurdles and Osika followed with a time of 1:14.15.
- Josh Gillis set a personal record in the Men's 1,500 Meters on Friday night with a time of 4:00.99. Brennen Pierce placed 22nd with a season-best time of 4:07.85.
- Rien Freeman earned fourth in the Men's 3000 Meter Steeplechase with a time of 9:47.75. Jackson Olsen took 11th with a time of 11:36.61.
- Campbell Dille set a season-best time of 18:36.08 in the Women's 5000 Meters and Kaylee Kraver collected a time of 20:09.89.
- Green took fifth in the Men's High Jump on Saturday with a clearance of 1.86 meters.
- Osika took sixth in the Women's High Jump with a height of 1.44 meters.
- Jocelyn Walker placed seventh in the Women's Pole Vault with a clearance of 2.84 meters.
- Joshua Ehresman placed 10th in the Men's Shot Put with a throw of 13.82 meters.
- Lora Dillon earned a mark of 11.14 meters in the Women's Triple Jump.
