SUMTER, S.C. – Lees-McRae men's tennis fell to No. 1 Belmont Abbey, 4-3, in the 2025 Conference Carolinas Men's Tennis Championship Semifinals on Saturday afternoon at the Palmetto Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Belmont Abbey took the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and 3 doubles.
- Max Borisov quickly earned the victory at No. 1 singles over Ricard Novell, 6-1, 6-1 to even the match at 1-1.
- Isaac Yang joined Borisov with a straight-set win at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-2.
- Andy Tallafigo collected a win at No. 5 singles after his opponent withdrew in the second set due to injury.
- The Crusaders took the match with singles victories at No. 3, 4, and 6 singles.
- Ezequiel Arce earned the first set at 6-3, but fell to Belmont Abbey's Tim Stemler, 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 at No. 4 singles.
