YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The Lees-McRae men's soccer program opened Conference Carolinas play on Saturday at Young Harris. The Mountain Lions took the match by a final of 2-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Conor Hart had a shot sail over the top of the goal in the 19th minute of today's contest. The Bobcats had a corner kick at the 28th minute, but Young Harris took the lead in the 32nd minute with a goal from Thomas Kleinpenning off a penalty kick.
- The Mountain Lions doubled their lead in the 62nd minute with another goal from Kleinpenning and Young Harris earned the Conference Carolinas opener by a final of 2-0.
- Conor O'Gorman had a penalty kick saved by Young Harris' Stathis Paplomatas in the 69th minute.
- Sean Green made one save this afternoon and O'Gorman had the lone shot on goal for Lees-McRae.
