Sarah Jones and
Aubrey Tansey tallied goals for Lees-McRae women's soccer as the Bobcats collected a 2-2 draw at Converse in Conference Carolinas play on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Converse broke the scoring in today's match with a goal from Norah Greer in the 21st minute. The Valkyries had chances on goal in the 24th minute by Jasmine Hernandez and Greer again in the 26th minute.
- Tansey tied the contest in the 36th minute after pushing a shot on target past the Converse goalkeeper.
- Zoey Cooler had a shot on goal for the Bobcats in the 37th minute, but the two sides entered halftime tied at 1-1.
- S. Jones registered the second goal of her senior season off a pass from Julie Eskes in the 61st minute.
- Converse connected on a match-tying goal in the 75th minute after a goal from Kathryn Hoffman.
- Abbey Brosnihan had a shot on goal for the Bobcats in the 84th minute, but was saved by Valkyrie Goalkeeper Gabriella Gudeman and Brooke Allen recorded a shot that sailed high of the goal in the 87th minute.
- Laura Walker made three stops in goal for Lees-McRae and the Bobcats held the 6-5 shots on goal advantage in today's match.
