GREENVILLE, S.C. – After breaking the school record in the 5K distance, Lees-McRae women's cross country Sophomore
Megan Knapp was named the Conference Carolinas Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.
Knapp, a Seville, Ohio native, turned in a time of 18:08.47 on Friday at the Chanticleer Challenge in Conway, South Carolina. Knapp placed 11th individually and was the first Division II runner to cross the finish line.
Lees-McRae cross country returns to action on Friday, October 3 at the Firetower Project Run, hosted by App State.
