Hayato Morimoto found the back of the net in the 84th minute of today's match as Lees-McRae men's soccer rallied for a 1-1 Conference Carolinas draw against Belmont Abbey.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The two sides had early chances in the first half with Belmont Abbey's Omer Gulmez taking a shot in the 6th minute and Bobcat Conor O'Gorman had a shot at the 15th minute mark.
- Landon Robbins had a quality chance in the 23rd minute of the first half, but Crusader Trent McConnaughey made the save.
- The two sides went into the halftime break deadlocked at zero.
- Belmont Abbey scored the first goal of the contest in the 49th minute after Sam Reynolds ran down the left side of the pitch and found the back of the net.
- Lees-McRae went down a man in the 55th minute after Zachary Carr was given a red card after his challenge.
- The two teams entered a weather delay with roughly 27 minutes to play in the second half.
- Belmont Abbey was also given a red card in the 80th minute after Pat Hissim accumulated his second yellow.
- Lees-McRae continued to pressure and Morimoto found the back of the net in the 84th minute off a wonderful strike.
