Tessa Greep compiled four top-ten finishes and placed third in the Dual Slalom on Saturday as Lees-McRae women's cycling hosted the High Country Mountain Bike Collegiate Challenge this weekend.
THE BASICS
RACE: High Country MTB Collegiate Challenge
LOCATION: Banner Elk, North Carolina
NOTABLES:
- Greep started the weekend with an eighth-place finish in the Cross Country Women's Collegiate A race. Anabel Miller missed the top ten by one place and collected 11th. Lauren Moon followed in 12th.
- In Dual Slalom, Greep qualified in third place and earned third place after the rest of Saturday was canceled. Olivia Young recorded seventh in the event and Miller placed 23rd individually for the Bobcats.
- On Sunday, Greep finished in sixth place in the Short Track Cross Country A race. Miller followed in 12th place and Moon registered 17th in the event. Jordan Austin rounded out the Bobcats in 37th position.
- Greep concluded the home race weekend with an eighth-place finish in the Downhill A race on Sunday. Miller joined her with a top-ten finish in 10th.
