BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's basketball scored a season-high 94 points and tallied 24 assists in today's 94-62 Conference Carolinas win over Erskine.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Nadiya Hairston gave the Bobcats the 4-3 lead off a layup with 8:06 to play in the first quarter and the Bobcats never trailed the rest of the way. Lees-McRae led 24-15 at the end of the first with three free-throw makes from Layla Tillery.
- The Bobcats added to their lead in the second period and led by 25 at the halftime break. Lees-McRae earned the 94-62 win over Erskine this afternoon in Conference Carolinas play.
- Hairston, the reigning Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Week, had a game-high 23 points on 8-16 shooting and added nine rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Sydney Gueterman collected 18 points on 7-11 shooting and three rebounds. Kaylee Carson followed with 15 points and Tillery joined them with 10 points in 14 minutes off the bench.
- Lees-McRae went 35-75 (46.7%) from the field today with 10 made three-pointers and 14-18 from the charity stripe. The Bobcats shared the ball well with 24 assists in the contest and scored 29 points off 22 Erskine turnovers.
