FERRUM, Va. – Lees-McRae men's basketball fell to Ferrum, 85-67, in Conference Carolinas action on Wednesday evening.
Dwight Canady and
Cedric Patterson led the Bobcats with 27 combined points.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Yerald Mieses moved the Bobcats to three points with a made basket at the 14:52 mark of the first half. Ferrum went on an 11-0 run and held the 18-10 advantage with 10:40 left in the opening half.
- The Panthers extended their lead to 18 points off a three-pointer from Rodrigo Farias. Lees-McRae cut the deficit down to six via a three-pointer from Daniel Agu and trailed by seven at the halftime break.
- Ferrum moved its lead back to double digits in the second half and held off the Bobcats for the 85-67 win on Ferrum's home floor.
- Canady had a team-high 17 points in 36 minutes and Patterson joined in double-digit scoring with 10 points off the bench.
