BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's volleyball defeated Emmanuel in a three-set sweep this evening on the McNair & Debi Tornow Court.
Ben Fincham had a match-high nine kills for the Bobcats.

FINAL SCORE: Lees-McRae def. Emmanuel, 3-0 (25-16, 25-12, 25-21)

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lees-McRae started on a 5-0 run in the first set after multiple attack errors from Emmanuel. The Bobcats built the 16-9 lead after a service ace from Davide Nicolini and earned the opening set at 25-16.
- The Bobcats raced out to a 9-0 second set lead. Ben Fincham captured the second set with a kill at 25-12.
- Emmanuel battled back in the third set as the two sides were even at 19-19. Lees-McRae took control with five consecutive points at 22-19 and earned the 3-0 match victory at 25-21.
- Nicolini followed Fincham with eight kills, two service aces, and four digs. Jaylen Tolliver had a sterling start with six kills on a .444 hitting percentage and three blocks.
- Abdirahman Ahmed distributed 28 assists and recorded four service aces in the win. Ben Ratliff-Becher had nine digs in three sets.
- Lees-McRae hit .239 in the match with 33 kills and registered eight total blocks tonight.
