Isajah Deburgo and
Nigel Okwakol combined for 32 points for Lees-McRae men's basketball, but the Bobcats fell to North Greenville, 73-69, in a Conference Carolinas battle.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- North Greenville held the slim 11-9 margin with 13:59 to play in the first half. The Trailblazers added to their lead and led by eight with 11:51 remaining in the first half.
- The Bobcats cut into the deficit and trailed by eight after two free throws by Justin Bramao with 1:10 left in the opening half. NGU pushed its lead back to eight points and held the 40-32 advantage heading into halftime.
- Chase McDuffie recorded an offensive rebound and collected a layup with 13:27 left in the second half as the Bobcats trailed by four.
- Lees-McRae used another run to cut the deficit down to three points after a three-pointer play from Cedric Patterson. Okwakol gave the Bobcats the 63-62 lead with 3:05 to play in the second half.
- North Greenville regained the one-point lead the ensuing possession and held off the Bobcats for the 73-69 win on the McNair & Debi Tornow Court.
- Deburgo led all scorers with 18 points off the bench this evening for the Bobcats. Okwakol joined him with 14 points on 6-8 shooting. Bramao, Dwight Canady, McDuffie, and Yerald Mieses all recorded seven points each in the contest.
