BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's volleyball picked up the four-set victory over Benedict this afternoon.
Davide Nicolini led the Bobcats with 14 kills on a .480 hitting percentage in today's win.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Nicolini registered back-to-back kills at 22-14 and a service error from Benedict gave Lees-McRae the 1-0 set lead.
- Benedict evened the match with a 25-23 set win in the second set. Camron Petillo earned the set point with a kill.
- Lees-McRae quickly turned the momentum back to their side with a quick 4-0 set lead in the third set. The Bobcats earned the set at 25-20 off a kill from Evan Harris.
- The Bobcats used a .571 hitting percentage in the fourth set and Lees-McRae earned the four-set victory over Benedict.
- Nicolini ended the match with 14 kills, five service aces, three blocks, and four digs. Austin Beaird followed with 11 kills, one block, and two digs. Jadon Ciriacks followed with nine kills and three digs.
- Abdirahman Ahmed finished the match with 31 assists and added two kills, three blocks, and five digs in the match.
