CENTRAL, S.C. — Madison Primeau recorded a game-high five goals this afternoon, but Lees-McRae women's lacrosse dropped an overtime game to Southern Wesleyan in Conference Carolinas play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Taylor Murrell scored the first goal of the day with 11:28 left in the opening period. Lees-McRae held the 9-4 lead at the halftime break after goals from Crystal Johnson and Primeau in the latter stages of the second quarter.
- Southern Wesleyan tied the contest at nine goals with five seconds remaining in the third quarter.
- Courtney Bednarz put the Bobcats back in front in the fourth at 10-9 but the Warriors evened the score at 10-10 and sent the game to overtime with a goal from Ella McCowen with 49 seconds left in regulation.
- SWU took the final in the overtime period with a goal from McCowen for the 12-11 win.
- Primeau led the Bobcats with five goals. Murrell followed with a hat trick and one assist. Johnson added two goals and Bednarz recorded one goal and two assists this afternoon.
