BELMONT, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's tennis recorded three singles victories this afternoon, but the Bobcats fell to No. 38 Belmont Abbey, 4-3, at the Reidy Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Alexa Mazzei and Pati Vedia Sanchez tallied the 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles over Belmont Abbey's Hanley Riner and Mackenzie McCarthy. The Crusaders earned the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and 3 positions.
- Sanchez defeated Kaitlyn Nguyen at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-1 for the first point of the day for Lees-McRae.
- Lina Ngassi Saqout recorded a 6-1, 1-6, 6-3 win at No. 2 singles over Alexis Burkhalter.
- Caroline Brothers collected a 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 win over McCarthy at the No. 4 singles position.
