HICKORY, N.C. – The Lees-McRae men's and women's track & field teams turned in two school records over the past two days at the Southside Power & Fitness Invitational, hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne University.
Megan Knapp lowered her school record in the 1,500 Meters on Friday and
Keagan Osika broke the school record in the Women's 200 Meters.

MEN'S NOTABLES:
WOMEN'S NOTABLES:
- Knapp turned in the top time in the 1,500 Meters with a school record 4:43.21 on Friday evening. Campbell Dille followed with a time of 4:59.41 and seventh place. Rebecca Kleiber earned a top-ten finish with a time of 5:01.62.
- Osika earned a school record in the 200 Meters with a time of 24.77 and placed sixth in the event.
- Landri Martinka tallied a time of 1:07.78 in the 400 Meter Hurdles.
- Kaia Thompson and Jocelyn Walker tied for second in the Pole Vault with a clearance of 2.96 meters.
- Osika placed fifth in the Javelin with a throw of 28.98 meters. Osika also narrowly missed a spot in the 100 Meter finals with a time of 12.20 in the preliminary round.
- Martinka and Sandryne Camire both placed in the top ten with finishes of 1:00.01 (Martinka, seventh place) and 1:02.65 (Camire, 10th place).

Lees-McRae men's and women's track & field teams will now focus on the Conference Carolinas Outdoor Championships starting on April 23 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
