BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's and women's cross country, under head coach
Ley Fletcher, released its 2026 cross country schedule. The Bobcats will compete in five meets during the regular season and will conclude the season in Spartanburg, S.C. for the Conference Carolinas Championships and NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Championships.
Lees-McRae will begin the season traveling to Charlotte, N.C. for the Queen City Invite on September 11.The following weekend the Bobcats will head to Central, S.C. for the Susan Rowe Invite on September 19. For the second straight year, Lees-McRae will head to Boone, N.C. for the Firetower Project Run on October 2.
The Bobcats will conclude the regular season in Upstate Invite on October 17 and then will head to Athens, Tenn. for the Tennessee Wesleyan Invite on October 23.
Lees-McRae will look for another strong showing in the Conference Carolinas Championships on November 7 after finishing 3rd last year. The Bobcats will remain in Spartanburg, S.C. for the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Championship on November 21 to close out the fall schedule.
