BANNER ELK, N.C. – No. 8 Lees-McRae men's soccer battled North Greenville in 90 minutes as the two sides earned one point in a scoreless draw in Conference Carolinas play on Tate Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Andrea Marrazzo had the lone shot on goal in the first half of tonight's contest, but North Greenville's Cohen Brinkley made the save.
- Marrazzo had the first opportunity in the second half with a shot in the 71st minute but the score remained tied at 0-0.
- Sean McDonald followed with an opportunity in the 79th minute, but Brinkley kept the clean sheet.
- Cristiano Leite had a solid opportunity on net in the 82nd minute off a free kick, but the Bobcats were unable to earn the goal.
- Lees-McRae had one more chance on goal in the 88th minute from Chris Banfield, but the Bobcats settled for the scoreless draw.
- Jonathan Kienle, the defending Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, earned the shutout in his goal with two saves.
