BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's volleyball defeated Southern Wesleyan in straight sets this evening in Conference Carolinas play.
Peyton Volk-Tuller led the Bobcats with 14 kills on the night.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bobcats used a 3-0 scoring run to increase their lead to 22-18 and picked up the opening set at 25-23 off a kill from Addi Stables.
- Lees-McRae recorded three consecutive points late in the second set for the 24-23 lead and Joy Bateman and Stables combined for a block for the 26-24 set victory.
- Lees-McRae earned the match in three sets after earning the third at 25-23 and was finished with a kill from Bateman.
- Volk-Tuller led the Bobcats with 14 kills on a .357 hitting percentage. Stables followed with nine kills, eight digs, and three blocks. Bateman tallied eight kills and five blocks tonight.
- Iza Rosin contributed 22 assists and Aadyn Polk followed with 17. Polk added a double-double with 17 assists and 12 digs. Brooke Ashkenase had nine digs at her libero position.
