Andrea Marrazzo collected his second goal of the season as the Lees-McRae men's soccer program battled Converse to a 1-1 draw in Conference Carolinas play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In a battle between two divisional opponents, the Bobcats and Valkyries played a fast-paced match in the second Conference Carolinas match of the season.
- Lees-McRae scored the first goal as Marrazzo powered home a pass from Conor O'Gorman in the 35th minute of the first half. The Bobcats held the one-goal advantage into the halftime break.
- The two sides continued to play physical throughout the second half and Adam Condron had a shot on target in the 65th minute after a free kick for the Bobcats.
- Converse was awarded a penalty kick in the 77th minute after a foul in the 18-yard box. Iker Revuelta buried the ball in the right corner of the goal for the 1-1 score.
- Lees-McRae had a free kick in the final minutes of tonight's contest, but the Bobcats played Converse to a 1-1 draw in league action.
- Jonathan Kienle made five saves in goal for Lees-McRae.
- The two squads were even in total shots with nine while Converse held the shots on goal advantage, 6-3.
