2020 Season (Senior) - In her final collegiate season, Ray appeared in all 16 games for the Bobcats...The Summerfield, N.C. native hit .365 with two home runs and nine RBI...Ray also scored a team-high 12 runs to go along with three doubles and nine walks...Recorded at least one hit in 13 of the 16 games she played in as a senior...Notched three hits against UVa-Wise on February 23 and then again against Frostburg State on March 7 to match a season-high...Hit home runs against Catawba and then again against #1 Young Harris on March 1 to help the Bobcats knock off the top-ranked Mountain Lions for the second day in a row...Following the season, Ray was named to the All-Conference Carolinas team by the league office...It marked the second time in her career she was named to an All-Conference team.
2019 Season (Junior) - As a junior, Ray was limited to 24 games due to injury...In those 24 games, Ray hit .257 with two home runs and 13 RBI...Ray totaled 19 hits, scored 13 runs, and picked up five doubles and one triple...Played in all three NCAA Tournament games for the Bobcats...Drove in a season-high four runs in a March 17 contest against Southern Wesleyan...Also drove in three runs in contests at Lenoir-Rhyne and Barton...Collected a season-high three hits against Lenoir-Rhyne as well...Had six multi-hit efforts in 24 games...In addition to her work on the field, Ray was named to the Academic All-Conference team for her work as a student.
2018 Season (Sophomore) - Ray took significant strides during her sophomore season in 2018...The second baseman hit .308 in 146 at-bats with two home runs and 12 RBI...She also stole eight bases and collected eight doubles...Led team in runs scored (23) and hits (45)...Posted 12 multi-hit games as a sophomore, including a pair of three-hit performances...Ray was recognized after the regular season by being named to the All-Conference Carolinas Second Team...Academically, Ray was named to the league's presidential honor roll for her work in the classroom.
2017 Season (Freshman) - Ray appeared in 46 of the team's 49 games in 2017...She hit .247 with 36 hits in 146 at-bats with two home runs and 18 RBI...Ray was tied for the team-lead in home runs (2) and doubles (10), while being second on the team with 20 runs scored...She made her collegiate debut at Carson-Newman on Feb. 2...She collected her first collegiate hit on Feb. 12 at UVA-Wise...Her best performance of her freshman season came April 1 against Southern Wesleyan where she went 3-for-3 with a pair of home runs.
