Biography

2020 Season (Freshman) - After playing for the Lees-McRae women's soccer team in the fall, Willets joined the women's lacrosse team in the spring and made an immediate impact...The midfielder from New York lead the Bobcats in several statistical categories, including goals (19), points (21), free-position goals (nine), free-position attempts (18) and shot attempts (38)...Willets took home Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week honors on February 24 becoming the first Bobcat to earn this accolade since 2016...Willets scored in five of the six games she appeared in as a freshman and scored multiple points in each of those contests as well...Her best outing came on February 22 at Mars Hill where she netted a season-high seven goals.
