2019-20 Season (Sophomore) - As a sophomore, Ybarra competed in all four indoor meets for the Bobcats...Ybarra set a new personal-best time in the one mile run in early December at the Appalachian Invitational Open clocking in at 4:53.34...Overall, Ybarra totaled six top 10 finishes in a variety of events...At the Conference Carolinas Indoor Track & Field Championships, Ybarra finished ninth in the 800m run...The highlight for Ybarra, however, was his performance with his teammates in the distance medley relay (DMR) where they not only placed second in the league but also set a new program record in the event. 

2018-19 Season (Freshman) - Ybarra posted results in nine meets as a freshman...Competed in the 800-meter run, 4x400-meter relay, distance medley relay (DMR) and 1500m run...Posted a 14th-place finish in the 800-meter run (2:03.81) at the Wake Forest Invitational (Jan. 20)...Ran the 800-meter run in 2:04.51, while being part of both a 14th-place 4x400-meter relay team (3:35.27) and a winning DMR team (10:54.76) at the ETSU Open (Feb. 2)...Posted two top-10 finishes at the JDL Fast Track Team Challenge (Feb. 7), finishing ninth in the 800-meter run (2:03.97) and being part of a runner-up 4x400-meter relay team (3:32.60)...Finished 17th in the 800-meter run (2:06.21), and was part of both an eighth-place 4x400-meter relay team (3:32.60) and a runner-up DMR team (10:52.60) that earned All-Conference honors at the Conference Carolinas Indoor Championships (Feb. 17)...Placed 11th in the 800-meter run (2:03.31) at the Winthrop Invitational (Mar. 23)...Finished 25th in the 800-meter run (2:02.37) while also being part of a 10th-place 4x400-meter relay team (3:32.29) at the Wofford Terrier Relays (Mar. 30)...Finished seventh in the 800-meter run (2:01.41) and 14th in the 1500m run (4:15.44), while also being part of the fourth-place 4x400-meter relay team (3:28.17) at the Lenoir-Rhyne Track and Field Classic (Apr. 6)...Took eighth in the 800-meter run (1:59.22) and was also a part of the fifth-place 4x400-meter relay team (3:33.25) at the Benyon Sports Catamount Classic (Apr. 13)...Took fifth in the 800-meter run (1:59.74), while also being part of the sixth-place 4x400-meter relay team (3:26.77) at the Conference Carolinas Outdoor Championships (Apr. 27).
