2019 Season (Junior) - Ortiz finished his junior season by starting in and playing in 15 of the team's 16 matches...The junior midfielder netted a pair of goals and added an assist for a total of five points...Attempted a team-high 50 shots and 21 of them landed on goal...Scored goals against Emmanuel and Chowan in 2019 to go along with an assist at Mount Olive on September 28...Attempted a season-high nine shots against North Greenville on October 2...At the conclusion of his junior season, Ortiz was named to the All-Conference Carolinas Second Team. 

2018 Season (Sophomore) - Ortiz played in and started 15 matches during his sophomore season for Lees-McRae...He finished second on the team with seven goals, and also tied for third on the team in assists with five...Ortiz also finished the season second on the team in points with 19...Ortiz garnered his first career all-conference selection landing a spot on the all-conference first team...He was also named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Southeast region second team, as well as the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Third Team...Ortiz tallied a goal and an assist in the 5-1 win over Mars Hill (Sept. 5), before scoring in the 2-2 draw at North Greenville (Sept. 11)...He scored a goal in the 4-3 win over Tusculum (19), before tallying an assist in the 3-1 loss to No. 24 Limestone Sept. 26). Ortiz scored in the 3-2 win over Mount Olive (Sept. 29), before totaling two goals and two assists against Newberry in an 8-2 win on Oct. 3. He also registered an assist in the 4-2 win over Barton on Oct. 20, before scoring a goal in the 3-2 loss to King (Tenn.) on Oct. 23. Ortiz was also named to the Conference Carolinas Fall Presidential Honor Roll for the second straight year. 

2017 Season (Freshman) - Ortiz played in all 19 of the team's matches as a true freshman in 2017...Ortiz also made five starts as a freshman with the first occurring on September 20 when the Bobcats hosted Lincoln Memorial...In that contest, Ortiz picked up his first collegiate point with an assist...The Mendoza, Argentina native scored his first goal as collegiate player on October 4 at Tusculum...He also found the back of the net with a shot against North Greenville on October 24...Tallied his second assist of the season in the Conference Carolinas Semifinals against Mount Olive...After the season, Ortiz was named to the conference's presidential honor roll for his work academically.
