2019 Season (Senior) - Merriam put on a stellar cap of her Bobcat career in 2019...In 23 games, Merriam hit .339 with three home runs and 16 RBI...With this performance, Merriam was named to the All-Conference Carolinas First Team as a designated player...Hit home runs against Erskine, Belmont Abbey and Converse...Totaled 21 hits, including seven multi-hit efforts...Scored four runs and added seven doubles as well...Drove in a season-high four runs in a contest against King on April 13...Had a pair of three-hit games against Belmont Abbey and Converse...In addition to her work on the field, Merriam was also honored for her work as a student as she was named to the Academic All-Conference team.
2018 Season (Junior) - As a junior, Merriam hit .222 with two home runs and seven RBI in 23 games for the Bobcats...Overall, Merriam collected 12 hits, scored four runs and worked eight walks in 2018...Hit home runs against Mount Olive and Barton in 2018...Academically, Merriam was named to the league's presidential honor roll for the third consecutive year, and was also named to the Academic All-Conference squad.
2017 Season (Sophomore) - Merriam was one of the top offensive players for Lees-McRae during her sophomore season...She was one of three Bobcats to have a batting average over the .300 as she turned in a batting average of .312...She collected 34 hits with seven going for extra bases (six doubles, one home run)...Her home run came at Tusculum on Feb. 17...Had a career-high eight-game hitting streak from March 18 to March 24...Following her sophomore season, Merriam was named to the Presidential Honor Roll for the second straight season.
2016 Season (Freshman) - Merriam appeared in 39 games during her freshman season at Lees-McRae...The Myrtle Beach, S.C. native hit .193 in 109 at-bats with six doubles, one home run and 11 RBI...She made her collegiate debut Jan. 31 at Anderson (S.C.)...She collected her first collegiate hit at Carson-Newman on Feb. 4...Her first collegiate home run came on Feb. 28 against Bloomsburg...Had four multi-hit games as a freshman...Merriam was named to the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll after her freshman season.
