2018 Season (Senior) - In her final season in a Bobcat uniform, Thornton played in 27 matches and 88 sets...For the season, Thornton totaled 126 kills, 11 assists, 24 aces, 189 digs and 24 blocks...Her top offensive performance came on August 31 with 14 kills against Fayetteville State...The senior from Lubbock, Texas notched a trio of double-doubles, including a 12-kill and 18-dig outing in a four-set win over Converse...Academically, Thornton was recognized after the season by being named to the Academic All-Conference team. 

2017 Season (Junior) - Thornton made an immediate impact in her first season as a Bobcat in 2017...The Lubbock, Texas native totaled a team-high 155 kills in 25 matches and 86 sets...Thornton also finished third in both service aces (20) and digs (223)...Also chipped in 22 assists and 22 total blocks during her first season in Banner Elk...Tallied four double-doubles...Top performance of the 2017 season came on September 29 where she tallied carer-bests with 17 kills and 16 digs in a five-set loss to Emmanuel...After the season, Thornton was named to the league's Presidential Honor Roll.
