Lacie Smith totaled 17 kills, 12 digs, four blocks, and two
service aces to lead the Lees-McRae College Lady Bobcats to a 3-1
road win over St. Andrew's Presbyterian College Friday evening,
30-28, 30-25, 23-30, 30-23. The win improves the Lady Bobcats
conference record to 12-2, 20-7 overall.
Tiarra Pendleton had 15 kills and 14 digs for the visitors
Trisha Reese supplied 20 assists and two aces. Lauren Dickover
(pictured) set a career high with 27 assists while Daviana Metti
ripped 14 kills and Natalie Burns had three total blocks.
The Lady Knights, who hit .267 as a team, were led by Jesi
Bewley's 15 kills, 12 digs, seven blocks and .379 hitting %. Tara
Lemieux spiked a team-high 16 kills to go along with 14 digs.
Lindsey Stansbury logged 15 kills and a team-high 22 digs while Kim
Harper had 52 assists and junior Erin Haugen scooped up 21
digs.
The Lady Bobcats return to action Saturday afternoon when they
travel to Coker College. The game will be the final road contest
of the season for the Lady Bobcats before returning home for five
straight home games to close out the season.
