WILLIAMSBURG, KY--The Lees-McRae Lady Bobcats soccer team
traveled to University of the Cumberlands Thursday evening, falling
6-0 to the Patriots in non-conference action. The Lady Bobcats
fall to 5-13 while the Patriots move to 13-3.
The Lady Bobcats struggled to put together a scoring attack, as
the Patriots stingy defense held the visitors to just two shots.
Martha Peacock (Mooresville, NC) got the start in goal for the Lady
Bobcats and picked up a career high eight saves.
The Lady Bobcats will resume Conference Carolinas play this
weekend when they travel to Mount Olive to take on the Lady
Trojans.
