SPARTANBURG, SC--The Lees-McRae Lady Bobcats topped Converse
College Saturday afternoon 3-1 in Conference Carolinas action. The
Lady Bobcats sit atop the Conference Carolinas standings with a
12-3 record, 18-11 overall, while Converse falls to 3-23,
(3-12).
Senior Daviana Metti (Cordoba, Argentina) had an errorless
match, posting 17 kills with a .536 hitting percentage while also
picking up four service aces. Junior Natalie Burns (Orlando, FL)
chipped in 15 kills while senior Caty Honey (Geneva, IL) added a
handful. Sophomore Lauren Dickover (Las Vegas, NV) registered 46
assists while freshman Kell Bogdan (Leawood, KS) and Tracey Copley
(Virginia Beach, VA) led the way defensively with 17 and 12 digs
respectively.
The Lady Bobcats will end their five game road trip Tuesday
evening when they battle Conference Carolinas rival Pfeiffer
University.
