with point guard Aaron Woodacre. Woodacre, a native of Piney
Flatts, TN played at University High and was named the Northeast
State Player of the Year last year as well as being selected to All
Conference, All Region, All District and All State teams.
1. What
made you decide to come to Lees-McRae? I came to
Lees-McRae because of its location, education, and to play NCAA
basketball.
2. How
long have you been playing basketball? I have been
playing basketball for fifteen years or more.
3. What
are your personal goals for this season? My personal
goals for this season are to improve all around, earn playing time,
and to get stronger.
4. What's
your favorite basketball memory here at Lees-McRae so
far? My favorite memory at school so far is either the
basketball camps or hitting the winning shot in open gym.
5. Who
has been the most influential person on your athletic
career? My mother, Patti Woodacre and my father, John
Woodacre have had the most influence.
6. If you
weren't playing basketball, what other sport would you
play? I would play baseball.
7. What
is your major and what do you plan to do with your
degree? I am undecided right now.
8. If you
could travel back in time to any point in history where would you
go? I would go back to the 1996 Olympics and watch team
USA win the gold medal.
9. What
is your favorite book? My favorite book is The Five
People You Meet in Heaven.
10. What
is your favorite food? My favorite food is pasta.
11. If you could visit any place in the world, where would
it be? If I could visit any place in the world I would go
to either Italy or the Outer Banks for a fishing trip.
12. What is one word that describes you and why?
Relaxed... I like to take one day at a time.
