Rock Hill, SC--The Lees-McRae Lady Bobcats dropped their second
straight road contest Sunday afternoon, falling 9-0 to Flagler
College. The loss drops the Lady Bobcats to 2-5, while Flagler
moves to 5-3.
Annika Hogberg tied a school single game record with eight
points (three goals and two assists) and while Lexi Bershaw
recorded a natural hat trick in the non-conference win at the
Manchester Meadows Complex. Caitlin Eggimann added a pair of goals
for the Saints with Elizabeth Glasgow rounding out the scoring with
a single and both Pam Quimby and Ashlyn McGregor each contributing
a pair of assists.
Hope McArthur picked up the shutout in goal for Flagler
registering five saves while Brittany Bolton (Roanoke, VA) picked
up seven saves in first half action. Marissa Middleton (Olathe,
KS) played in the net for the Lady Bobcats in the second, recording
one save.
The Lady Bobcats will resume Conference Carolinas action
Wednesday when they travel to Limestone for a 2:00pm
kickoff.
