MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TENN. -- The Milligan College Lady Buffs
women's soccer team defeated the Lees-McRae College Lady Bobcats
4-1 in a non-confernece match Tuesday night.
Nine Henriksson got past the defenders in the 13th minute to
boot in a goal for the Lady Buffs.
The Lady Bobcats responded with a goal from Melissa Horn in the
43rd minute that bounced off the post. Brooke Santerre assisted the
goal.
The Lady Buffs started off the second half with a goal in the 48th
minute, when Henriksson again sped past the defenders and scored
her second goal of the match.
In the 85th minute, Stephanie Bain followed through on a shot that
deflected off the cross bar to score for the Lady Buffs.
Two minutes later, Kristen Crute scored in the 87th minute on a
corner kick.
The Lady Bobcats will host Anderson University Saturday, October
25th at 7 p.m. at Tate Field in a Conference Carolinas match.
