BANNER ELK, N.C. - The Barton College Lady Bulldogs scored two
goals within in a minute in the first half to down the Lees-McRae
College Lady Bobcats 2-0 Wednesday night in Conference Carolinas
women's soccer action at Tate Field.
"It was a
challenging game for us because we didn't get into an early rhythm
in passing through our midfield," head coach Renee Lopez said. "We
had a few chances and didn't put ours away and Barton capitalized
on their opportunities. However, we are preparing to be focused for
homecoming this weekend vs. St. Andrews."
Lees-McRae will host St. Andrews College Saturday, October 3rd
on Homecoming weekend.
