INDIANAPOLIS --- Freshman midfielder Kaitlyn
Kerrigan (Lakewood Ranch, Fla.) is ranked sixth in the nation in
assists, and the Lees-McRae College women's soccer team is listed
in nine individual and team categories in the latest edition of the
NCAA Division II women's soccer statistics, announced NCAA
officials Tuesday.
Lees-McRae (11-5, 6-2 CC) enters the week having won two of its
last three matches, including a 3-0 win over Brevard on Oct. 15 in
Southeast Region play. The Lady Bobcats are ranked 23rd in the
nation in scoring offense (2.5) to begin the week, while also being
listed 51st in winning percentage (0.688), 61st in goals against
average (1.0), and 76th in shutout percentage (0.375).
Kerrigan continues to be ranked among the nation's assists
leaders, entering the week listed sixth in both total assists (10)
and helpers per match (0.67). Junior Brooke Santerre (Port
Republic, Md.) and freshman MaryBeth Sullivan (Greensboro, N.C.)
begin the week tied for 54th in assists per match (0.44), 56th in
total points (23), and 65th in points per contest (1.44).
Junior forward Vickie Rich (Arlington Heights, Ill.) enters the
week ranked 83rd in total markers (20) and 90th in assists per
match, while senior goalkeeper Brittany Bolton (Roanoke, Va.) is
listed 71st in goals against average (1.027).
Lees-McRae returns to the pitch on Tuesday when the Lady Bobcats
travel to Due West, S.C. to take on Erskine College in a Conference
Carolinas match at 3:30 p.m.
