BANNER ELK, N.C. - The Lees-McRae men's tennis team (10-4, 7-0)
continued their unbeaten streak in the Conference Carolinas with a
9-0 win over the Coker College Cobras (1-10, 1-6) Thursday
afternoon.
In doubles the Bobcats only dropped four sets in the three
matches to win 8-3 at number one, 8-1 at number two and 8-0 at
number three.
In singles, Nandor Solymosi remains unbeaten in his last six
matches at number one singles with a 6-3, 6-0 win. None of the
singles matches went to a third set as the Bobcats won all six
matches in two sets.
Lees-McRae will play Armstrong Atlantic for their next match on
April 5th.
