JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. --- Nazaire Saintine
(Douglasville, Ga.) established a new school record in the triple
jump to lead the Lees-McRae College men's track and field team to a
strong showing on the first day of East Tennessee State
University's Niswonger Invitational on Friday.
Saintine finished fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 13.95
meters, while Kendel Davis (Douglasville, Ga.) and Eric Cloy (Ball
Ground, Ga.) placed ninth and 19th, respectively, with jumps of
13.20 and 12.19 meters. Bradley King (Hildebran, N.C.) turned in a
strong performance in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing 20th with a
time of 8.97 seconds.
Lees-McRae returns to action on Saturday in Johnson City, Tenn.
for the second and final day of the Niswonger Invitational.
