Men's Tennis Drops Contest to King (Tenn.)

BANNER ELK, N.C. --- The Lees-McRae men's team fell to King (Tenn.), 9-0, in Conference Carolinas play Saturday afternoon at the LMC Tennis Courts in Banner Elk, N.C.

The Tornado improved to 9-6, 4-0 CC while the Bobcats dropped to 0-9, 0-4.

Junior Garrett Lakey (North Wilkesboro, N.C.) pushed Lenny Keswani to the limit in No. 3 singles. Keswani won the first set 6-3 before Lakey responded with a 6-4 victory in the second. Keswani claimed the decisive set by a 6-2 score.

LMC travels to Limestone Tuesday, March 29 at 2 p.m. for a CC battle in Gaffney, S.C.
