WINTER PARK, Fla. --- Three different Lees-McRae men's lacrosse players scored a goal, but the team fell 21-3 to Rollins at Barker Family Stadium Tuesday evening in Winter Park, Fla.
The Tars improved to 4-1 while the Bobcats fell to 1-3.
Reigning Conference Carolinas Player of the Week, junior Dane Carney (Manchester, England) notched a goal 3:59 into the game while Alec Molander (Saanichton, British Columbia) earned the assist.
Sophomore Tanner Jones (Comox Valley, British Columbia) and senior Dustin Barrow (Columbia, S.C.) scored fourth-quarter goals for LMC.
Barrow impressed with six faceoff wins.
Freshman Cameron Castle (Fort Collins, Colo.) and sophomore Jordan Lombardo (York, Pa.) combined for 10 saves.
LMC forced 13 turnovers, including five in the fourth.
The Bobcats return to action Friday, March 11 at 7 p.m. at No. 20 Saint Leo in St. Leo, Fla.
