BANNER ELK, N.C. --- The Lees-McRae men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Barton in Conference Carolinas action Friday afternoon at the LMC Tennis Courts in Banner Elk, N.C.
The Bulldogs rise their record to 9-8, 4-2 CC while the Bobcats fall to 0-12, 0-7.
Sophomore Gabriel Muniz (Soao, Brazil) grabbed the first set, 6-4, against Rafael Velasco at No. 2 singles, but dropped the final to by identical 6-4 scores.
Freshman Cole Douglas-Fields (Asheville, N.C.) played well despite dropping a three-set bout at No. 6 singles.
LMC welcomes Mount Olive Saturday, April 2 at 11 a.m. for a CC match in Banner Elk, N.C.
