Men's Lacrosse falls on the road to No. 2 Limestone, 25-9

GAFFNEY, S.C. – No. 2 Limestone College defeated the Lees-McRae College men's lacrosse team 25-9 Tuesday afternoon in Conference Carolinas action. The loss dips LMC's record to 1-3 on the season and 0-1 in conference play.

Limestone outshot LMC 59-26 in the contest and won 33 of the 38 faceoff opportunities. The Saints also had 62 groundballs and went a 13-for-18 on clear attempts.

Wyatt Daziel Alec Molander and Tanner Jones led LMC with a pair of goals Tuesday. Dane Carney, Blaine Stottlar, and William Eagle also added goals for the Bobcats. Overall, Stottlar and Molander paced the Bobcats with three points each. In goal, Cameron Castle made 11 saves but took the loss moving his record to 1-3 on the season.

LMC will return home to take on Alabama-Huntsville Saturday at Tate Field. First faceoff is scheduled for noon.
