BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College men's tennis team fell in Conference Carolinas action Friday afternoon to Southern Wesleyan, 7-2. The loss moves LMC's record to 1-8 overall and 0-2 in league matches.
The team of Garrett Lakey and Gabriel Muniz picked up its four win of the season from the No. 1 doubles spot, which evened its record to 4-4 in 2016-17.
In singles action, Cole Douglas-Fields pulled into a tie for the team-lead with his third singles win of the season against SWU's Keegan Barkely, 6-4 and 6-3.
