CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College men's lacrosse team fell in non-conference matchup Wednesday night at No. 14 Queens by a score of 17-4. The loss pushes Lees-McRae's record to 0-5 on the 2020 campaign.

Queens started Wednesday's contest clicking well offensively. The Royals netted eight goals in the first period, while keeping the Bobcats off the scoreboard. Lees-McRae was able to find some offense in the second quarter and the second half but the eight goal at the start proved too large to overcome as Queens ended up winning the contest, 17-4.

Four different Bobcats tallied points in the contest. Mike Moore (2g) and Jackson Galloway (1g, 1a) each picked up a pair of points. Ryan Beauchamp netted LMC's fourth goal, while Craig Barr added an assist.

Jack Cruz ended up taking the loss in goal for Lees-McRae allowing 11 goals, while making nine saves in 30 minutes of action. Josh Csanyi played the second half for LMC in goal and made nine saves against six goals against.

Lees-McRae will be back in action when it visits Tusculum for another non-conference matchup. First face-off between the Bobcats and Pioneers is set for 5 p.m.
