BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Lees-McRae College men's tennis team picked up its second consecutive win Saturday in non-conference action as it shut out Davis & Elkins by a score of 7-0. The win pushes Lees-McRae's record to 6-4 on the 2019-20 campaign.
The Bobcats were pretty dominant in Saturday's match against the Senators. Lees-McRae won three tilts by forfeit due to Davis & Elkins not having players in those positions. Overall, Lees-McRae went 2-1 in doubles action to earn the doubles point before winning all six singles bouts.
The next scheduled match for the Bobcats will occur on March 13 against Post University at the USTA National Tennis Center over spring break in Orlando, Florida. Start time for that match is set for 9 a.m.
