Olivia Ney finished with a team-high nine kills, while
Lauren Xayavong finished with a match-high 26 digs, but it was not enough as Francis Marion clinched a three-set victory over the visiting Bobcats in the Conference Carolinas match this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Ney also chipped in a team-high three block assists, while Mahealani Chun and Hailey Gilreath both tallied seven kills.
- Carlee Allbaugh notched her 18th double-double this season with 27 assists and 15 digs, with Madison Goins also chipping in 11 digs.
- Lees-McRae and Francis Marion traded runs the majority of the first set, with a kill by Kaden Hill cutting the deficit to 19-18, but the Patriots ended with a late kill to clinch the first set, 25-22.
- Francis Marion opened the second set by scoring 10 of the first 15 points and scored 12 of the final 14 points to win the frame, 25-15.
- The Bobcats rallied from an early deficit in the third set and used an attacking error by Francis Marion to trim the deficit to 17-16.
- The Patriots closed on a 4-1 run to clinch the conference victory with a 25-19 win in set three.
- Lees-McRae held a slim 5-3 edge in service aces and a 6-5 advantage in blocks.
FOR THE FOES:
- Gracie Davis finished with a match-high 16 kills to pace the Patriots.
- Kaylee Gillespie chipped in 36 assists, while Zoie Larkins added 22 digs.
