FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – Emmanuel held the visiting Bobcats to 30 percent shooting from the field and held a 42-18 edge in point in the paint en route to a 71-50 victory in the Conference Carolinas action this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Destiny Johnson finished with a game-high 18 points to pace the Bobcats, while also finishing with six rebounds and two steals.
- Aurora Roberts chipped in 10 points and six rebounds.
- MaKayla Smith and Jessica Henderson added eight and seven points respectively.
- Lees-McRae and Emmanuel traded runs during the opening 10 minutes of action, until a jumper with five seconds remaining gave the Lions a 17-13 lead at the first intermission.
- The Lions pushed the lead to double-digits in the second frame en route to claiming a 29-22 halftime lead.
- Emmanuel held a double-digit lead for the majority of the second half en route to claiming the conference victory.
- The Lions outscored the Bobcats 28-12 in fast break points, 18-14 in points off of turnovers and 16-13 in bench production.
FOR THE FOES:
- Three Lions scored in double figures, led by Breanna Locke who finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds.
- Jazmin Allen chipped in 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Mari Jonassen added 10 points.
