HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Aurora Roberts finished with a team-high 11 points on 7 of 8 shooting from the field.
- Destiny Johnson chipped in seven points, three rebounds, and two blocks.
- Jala Holloman added five points off the bench.
- Both teams traded runs in the first 10 minutes of action, with the Crusaders using a late free throw to take a 24-13 edge at the first intermission.
- Belmont Abbey outscored the Bobcats 24-8 in the second frame to extend the lead to 48-21 at the halftime buzzer.
- The Crusaders maintained a sizable lead for the remainder of the contest to clinch the Conference Carolinas victory.
FOR THE FOES:
- Brittany Autry finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds to pace the Crusaders.
- Allie Downing and Maria Kuhlman finished with 13 and 12 points respectively.
